The eggs continued......

I ran out of photo space so here are the rest of the eggs :)

Our anniversary!

We are blest to have made it to our 12th wedding anniversary this past weekend. This is the first time that it has fallen on Easter. My super cute hubby and I were dying Easter eggs and he made some for me :) They are so funny and adorable! He is awesome and I am so honored to have spent the last 12 years with my best friend. I love that I get to spend everyday with my best friend. It is so true that you can be more in love with someone today than you were the day you got married. I truly don't remember life before him (maybe that is because I was so young when we got married :) !) I am so proud of him and all that he is and all that he does for me and our family. Spencer, I love you so much! I am very much looking forward to the rest of eternity with you! {*}

PS: The eggs say: Tori and Spencer sitting in a tree k-i-s-s-i-n-g

Madelyn's Birthday

We had a birthday/Easter dinner for Madelyn. All of the family was here and it was nice. A little loud but nice :) She wanted me to make an angel food cake with pineapple for her cake. She had a good time I think. I cant believe that she is 9 already! Time is rude and goes way too fast!

Brooks and the Easter Bunny

We went to Spencer's grama's house for an Easter egg hunt. They do a great job there making it fun for the kids. They even had to improvise due to the wonderful rainy weather. Jessica was finishing up a sleepover so JoAnne and I had Brooks there. Jo took him over to the Easter Bunny and he freaked out. I am such a caring aunt and I said put him on his lap anyway. He really screamed. It was such a funny picture! I know, I am so mean but it really was funny. I am sure he will be fine at some point :) He still loves me too! He is such a cutie!

The Natural History Museum

There were a couple of new exhibits at the Natural History Museum this time. There was a room full of thousands of orchids. They were spectacular! There was also a butterfly room. It was very cool. I would suggest going on a Tuesday when you can get free tickets. It was $6 a person on other days. It was fun to see all of the hundreds of butterflies. I think that they said that there were about 350 in the room. One landed on Tyler's shirt and then another one landed on my head. It was pretty funny. We had a great time.

Our trip to DC

I went to DC to see my cute hubby the night of my birthday and then I had to go back to get the kids and teach primary and I decided that I wanted to take the kids to see the cherry blossoms. We went back down sunday night after a birthday party for Brooks. There wasn't a lot of extra room in the hotel so I had to take a photo of Tyler sleeping in the chair. We went the next day to the tidal basin to see the cherry blossoms. It was so windy that I didn't get the greatest photos of the kids but they are something. It was so beautiful there.

What my husband does on my birthday EVERY year!

My poor hubby always has to work on my birthday. I know that he doesnt want to but life is what it is and he makes good money. I thought that I would show what he does for a living. He took some photos of a booth that they were setting up in Washington DC for a "Cable" show. I think that this was a Motorola booth. It is a pretty big setup. It takes them days and days to set up and then they have a show for a day or two and then it takes a day or two to take it down. It reminds me of preparing for primary. Anyhow, he works so very hard and I am super proud of all of the hard work he does for us!

My Birthday!

Ok, so I am the worst blogger ever! I thought that I was doing so well but I have fallen so far behind. I think that I feel like I can't post something without a photo. So here goes......... I had a great surprise for my birthday. Spencer's mom and sisters (Jessica and Jo) and the kids came over with cake and pizza and a load of plants and mulch for my garden. It was so awesome of them! They worked super hard to help plant my garden in the front of the house. It looks beautiful. I will add a picture of it later after it stops pouring. The pictures that I did add are of my cake while I was blowing out the candles and Jo Anne and her super dirty hands. It was a great birthday! Thanks guys!
